What is the center-to-end dimension of a 1" 90 degree elbow?
On our data sheets, a 1" Class 3000 threaded 90° elbow measures 1.732" from center to end (A), and a 1" socket weld 90° elbow 0.886" from center to the bottom of the socket (A).
Why does this page have two charts?
Our data sheets have threaded and socket weld charts, each with its own drawing. The socket weld chart on this page combines our two socket weld sheets, because the drawings on each sheet use letters from the other. Each chart uses the letters on its own drawing.
What does Class 3000 mean on the charts?
Class 3000 is the pressure class of these fittings (3000# in the product table). Our data sheets give some dimensions for Class 3000 and Class 6000; the charts show the Class 3000 columns.
