Stainless steel sanitary weld caps are used on permanent installations where process piping and equipment can be cleaned in place (CIP) and removal from the system is not required. What sizes of sanitary weld caps do you carry?
The product table on this page lists 304 and 316L stainless steel sanitary weld caps, from 1" to 6". The 6" size comes in 316L only. For other sizes or alloys, call (800) 282-9694 or send us a message.
How deep is a sanitary weld cap?
A in the chart is the depth of the cap: a 2" cap measures 0.750". For the 6" cap our data sheet says "Contact us for dimensions"; call us for them.
What is the wall thickness?
Our data sheet gives a nominal wall (the wall column in the chart) of 0.065" from 1" to 3" and 0.083" at 4"; for the 6" size our data sheet says "Contact us for dimensions".
