The most common pipe fitting is a stainless steel pipe tee or specifically a straight pipe tee. Tees have two outlets at 90 degrees from the main flow and are used to combine or split fluid or gas flow. Tees connect and combine pipe systems or they can connect various size pipes together with reducing tees. A reducing tee can connect various sizes of pipes together in one pipe system.
