Stainless steel slip on plate flanges slip over the end of a stainless pipe. Our 150# stainless steel slip on plate flanges are available in 304 and 316 ASTM stainless steel grades. Slip on plate flanges are welded to the joining pipes and cannot be joined to a fitting directly to the flange. A pipe is needed between the fitting and flange.Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dimensions of a 4" slip-on plate flange?
A 4" slip-on plate flange is 9" OD and 1/2" thick, with a 4.570" bore and eight 3/4" holes on a 7-1/2" bolt circle for 5/8" bolts. It weighs about 6.7 lb.
Are plate flanges flat face?
Yes. All of our plate flanges are flat face, with Class 150 drilling.
Can a plate flange be used as a back-up flange?
Yes. Plate flanges for lap joint application (as back-up), for use with flat or angle type face rings, can be furnished on request.
