Additional Info
A cast cross fitting, or four-way fitting, is implemented when you have four pipes coming together to combine the same or multiple fluids or gasses in a system of pipes. It is uncommon to see cross fittings in a standard piping system, but they are common in fire sprinkler systems. You are more likely to find two tee fittings in standard piping.
